Hello everyone.
This is your official invitation to my 7-NO birthday party on November 17 at ONCE UPON A CANVAS in Benicia, California.

There will be a number of things going on. Between two and three I will be giving an iPhone artistry demonstration taking a photograph of a still life and showing on a TV monitor what kinds of things can be done with it. I teach iPhone artistry at the gallery. If any of my students are there, they will be airdropping me photos that they have created so I can show those as well. From 3 to 6, there will be a party and artist reception. I’m bringing lots of mixed media supplies and blank composition journals and cards. There will be an opportunity to decorate Your own composition book or a couple cards and take it with you. Kids are welcome.
Additionally, lots of the things I have been working on will be on display. You can see some of it at bethgrimmcreativearts.com. The show is called Everything is Coming Up Roses. I have metal prints from the iPhone artistry pieces, mono prints, acrylic poor paintings, and other acrylic and watercolor paintings I have done. There will also be some already created journals there for ideas and for sale. And photo coasters and lots of greeting cards. People can buy things if they want – everything will be very reasonably priced, but of course it’s not necessary. And there’s no charge for the materials for the journal cover making part of it.
I’ll have snacks and wine and some other drinks. Mainly, it will be for celebrating, and give me an opportunity to share what I’ve been doing with others. And share my art materials. I’m really looking forward to it. The gallery owner is fully supportive and so are the people involved in the gallery family and other people I know in town.
This is a time of reinvention in my life and I’m really active in the gallery here and teaching and getting quite a following in the iPhone artistry classes. So, I have a lot to look forward to where I live for the future and would love to share with you. I hope you can come.
