At This Age

Hello and good day! I’m starting this blog at this age as part of the re-creation of myself. I am finally heading down the hill I have spent my life climbing. It’s an easier walk down than the hike up to the top because I left my flag, my stake, and a lot of responsibility and baggage at the top.  The load is definitely lighter. I enjoyed the climb with its peaks and valleys. And relish that life is not over. I want to do this blog to share some of the things I’ve learned on this life long journey, and also to teach iphone artistry and other things. At this age, I try to incorporate some form of art and creativity each day. Smiling is definitely a goal. Laughing out loud is icing on the cake. Life should be fun, not a drudge. And learning new things is bound to be stimulating in some way. Through this blog I will offer tips on better photography, ways to add more fun to travel for the “roadsters” (those who love traipsing across the US), better ways of seeing and feeling life, and how to enjoy each day. I teach iphone artistry at a local gallery in Benicia and will offer tips to improve your own efforts, should you be so inclined as to want to get the most out of your iphone. Some of the apps I will teach are also available on the android. What I have come to LOVE about iphone artistry is that I always have my camera and amazing art tools with me wherever I go. I never have to worry about bringing the wrong art equipment or paper or pencils or paints on any given day. I don’t need to carry a magazine or a book. I don’t need outside stimulation to make life good (although that can also add value!). Yup, it can be a good life. I hope you will visit this blog and get “linked in” to joy and creation and positivity with me.
